2015 Preview: November

November 2015… the month of James Bond, the Hunger Games, Rocky Balboa, Peanuts, and Pixar. A lot of big-name films are hitting theaters during the month of Thanksgiving so let’s highlight them here today. Welcome back to Rhode Island Movie Corner’s year-long preview of the films that are set to come out in 2015. This is Part 11 of 12 and today we come to the penultimate month of 2015; November.

NOVEMBER 6- The first weekend of the month is highlighted by the one-two punch of 007 and the world of Charles Schulz’ iconic franchise, the Peanuts.

*After 2012’s billion-dollar hit ‘Skyfall’, Daniel Craig returns as James Bond in Sam Mendes’ second Bond film, ‘Spectre’. This new film, as the title suggests, will re-introduce the classic villainous organization known as Spectre that had been absent from the franchise since the 70’s due to legal issues. The film also stars Christoph Waltz as main villain Franz Oberhauser, Lea Seydoux as lead Bond girl Madeleine Swann, Monica Bellucci as secondary Bond girl Lucia Sciarra, and Dave Bautista as the film’s primary henchman Mr. Hinx. Alongside them, Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Ben Whishaw (Q), Rory Kinnear (Tanner), and Jesper Christensen (Mr. White) all reprise their roles from previous Bond films.

*The classic world of Charles Schulz’s ‘Peanuts’ franchise comes to the big screen (for the first time since 1980) in ‘The Peanuts Movie’. Produced by Blue Sky Studios and co-written by Schulz’s son Craig and his son (Schulz’s grandson) Bryan, this new film sees Charlie Brown and his loyal dog Snoopy go on life-changing quests, as Snoopy takes on his arch-nemesis the Red Baron and Charlie Brown tries to woo the Little Red-Haired Girl.

NOVEMBER 13- Out this weekend are a true story and an ensemble comedy.

*Antonio Banderas stars in ‘The 33’, which tells the true story of the 2010 Chilean mining disaster in which 33 miners ended up getting trapped for over two months in the San Jose mine when a cave-in occurs. The film also stars Rodrigo Santoro, Juliette Binoche, and James Brolin.

*A major ensemble cast headlines ‘Love the Coopers’, a Christmas comedy that follows four generations of the titular Cooper family as they unite for their annual Christmas Eve party; John Goodman, Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried, Alan Arkin, Olivia Wilde, Ed Helms, Marisa Tomei, June Squibb, and Anthony Mackie.

NOVEMBER 20- While the big draw this weekend is the finale to the ‘Hunger Games’ saga, there’s also a Seth Rogen comedy and an adaptation of an Argentinian novel for the non-Hunger Games crowds.

*After four years, the ‘Hunger Games’ series finally comes to an end with ‘Mockingjay Part 2’, the immediate follow-up to last year’s ‘Mockingjay Part 1’. This final film sees Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) leading the districts of Panem in a final showdown against President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and the corrupt Capitol. Lawrence is once again joined by, among others, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

*Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Anthony Mackie headline ‘The Night Before’, in which they star as a trio of friends who seek to have one last great Christmas Eve hurrah. The film also stars Jillian Bell, Michael Shannon, and Mindy Kaling.

*Screenwriter Billy Ray (‘The Hunger Games’, ‘Captain Phillips’) helms the American remake of the 2009 Argentine thriller ‘The Secret in their Eyes’, which in turn was based off of the 2005 novel ‘La pregunta de sus ojos’ by Eduardo Sacheri. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Julia Roberts star as a pair of FBI investigators, along with Nicole Kidman as their D.A. supervisor, who are severely affected by the tragedy of the death of one of their children.

NOVEMBER 25- Opening early on Wednesday before the Thanksgiving Holiday are a spin-off to the Rocky franchise, Pixar’s second animated film of the year, and a new take on the classic story of Frankenstein. I’ll also add in one noteworthy limited release.

*Ryan Coogler, director of 2013’s critically acclaimed indie drama ‘Fruitvale Station’, teams up again with Fruitvale star Michael B. Jordan for ‘Creed’, a spin-off to the iconic ‘Rocky’ franchise. Jordan stars as the son of the late Apollo Creed, who begins training to become a boxer with the help of his father’s old friend, the ‘Italian Stallion’ himself, Rocky Balboa, once again played by Sylvester Stallone.

*Pixar achieves a company first this year with ‘The Good Dinosaur’, their second release in a single year. Their newest film explores a world in which the dinosaurs were never killed by the asteroid as a young Apatosaurus named Arlo tries to get back home along with his new friend, a human cave-boy named Spot. The film’s voice-cast includes Sam Elliot, Anna Paquin, and Jeffrey Wright.

*Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy star in ‘Victor Frankenstein’, a new take on the classic story of Frankenstein as told from the perspective of Dr. Frankenstein’s (McAvoy) assistant Igor (Radcliffe).

*And finally, debuting in limited release on Friday the 27th is ‘The Danish Girl’, directed by ‘The King’s Speech’ and ‘Les Miserables’ director Tom Hooper. Eddie Redmayne stars as Lili Elbe, who became one of the first major recipients of sex reassignment surgery in the 1930’s. Alicia Vikander co-stars as Gerda Gottlieb, who was married to Lili back when she was Einar Wegener, and the film also stars Ben Whishaw and Matthias Schoenaerts.

And those are the films that are hitting theaters this November. Check back next month for the final part of this year-long preview as we close out 2015 with the films of December, which includes a small sci-fi film you may have heard of… ;)

2015 Preview: October

The Fall/Awards Movie Season continues as we look into the month of Halloween, October. Quite a lot to talk about this month, especially when compared to September. That’s usually the case around this time of the year; the season really gets started in October. But anyway, welcome back to Rhode Island Movie Corner’s year-long preview of the films that are set to come out in 2015. This is Part 10 of 12 and today we’ll be looking at the films that will be hitting theaters this October. Let’s get started…

OCTOBER 2- One main wide release and an IMAX exclusive debut to kick off the month. Aside from that, the Denis Villeneuve/Emily Blunt pic ‘Sicario’ will make its nationwide debut.

*Matt Damon stars in Ridley Scott’s latest film, ‘The Martian’, based off of the novel of the same name by Andy Weir. In it, he plays an astronaut who ends up getting stranded on Mars, resulting in him having to survive on the Red Planet while his crew tries to rescue him. The film’s big ensemble cast also includes Jessica Chastain, Jeff Daniels, Michael Pena, and Kate Mara.

*Debuting early on September 30th exclusively in IMAX theaters, ‘The Walk’, directed by Robert Zemeckis, is the true story of high-wire artist Phillipe Petit’s famous tightrope walk between the Twin Towers on August 7, 1974. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Petit and the film also stars Ben Kingsley, Charlotte Le Bon, and James Badge Dale.

OCTOBER 9- One main wide release this week while ‘The Walk’ expands into all theaters nationwide.

*Director Joe Wright brings to life the world of Neverland in this prequel to J.M. Barrie’s classic novel ‘Peter Pan’, ‘Pan’. It’s the story of how the young Peter Pan (Levi Miller) is first brought to Neverland and how he first met James Hook (Garrett Hedlund). The film also stars Hugh Jackman as the main villain Blackbeard and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily.

OCTOBER 16- A trio of new wide releases include the latest from directors Steven Spielberg and Guillermo Del Toro.

*Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg reunite for the first time in over a decade with ‘Bridge of Spies’. Co-written by the Coen Brothers, the film, based on a true story, stars Hanks as lawyer James B. Donovan, who in 1962 negotiated the release of captured U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers (Austin Stowell) from the Soviet Union during the Cold War. The film also stars Mark Rylance, Amy Ryan, and Alan Alda.

*Guillermo Del Toro returns to his horror roots with ‘Crimson Peak’. Mia Wasikowska stars as a young author who moves into the haunted estate of her new husband (Tom Hiddleston) and his sister (Jessica Chastain), where she comes across all sorts of ghostly beings.

*The classic children’s horror series by R.L. Stine, ‘Goosebumps’, gets brought to the big screen. Jack Black stars as R.L. Stine himself as the film centers on him, his daughter Hannah (Odeya Rush), and their new neighbor Zack (Dylan Minnette) as they try and stop the monsters of his stories when they are accidentally unleashed from their books.

OCTOBER 23- Boy oh boy is this a busy week. Six (!) new releases, one of which is a nationwide expansion.

*Bradley Cooper stars in director John Wells’ ‘Burnt’ alongside a big ensemble cast that also includes Cooper’s ‘American Sniper’ co-star Sienna Miller as well as Daniel Bruhl, Alicia Vikander, Lily James, Uma Thurman, and Emma Thompson. Cooper plays a chef named Adam Jones (and I’m only saying that because that was one of the working titles for the film) who looks to establish a prestigious London restaurant but must overcome his personal problems that had previously derailed his career.

*In a rare non-horror turn for Blumhouse Productions, we have ‘Jem and the Holograms’, based off of the toy line and 80’s animated series of the same name. Directed by Jon M. Chu (‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ and, yes, two Justin Bieber concert films), the film, like the original series, centers on a group of friends who form a hit rock band. The film stars Audrey Peeples, Molly Ringwald, and Juliette Lewis.

*But then there’s the other Blumhouse Productions release this week, which serves as the return of the ‘Paranormal Activity’ franchise. Reportedly the ‘final’ installment of the series, ‘Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension’ will revolve around the protagonists actually being able to see the ‘paranormal activity' this time around.

*Vin Diesel stars in and produces ‘The Last Witch Hunter’, in which he stars as the ‘titular’ witch-hunter who teams up with, of all people, a witch to take down the covens of New York City. The film also stars Elijah Wood and Michael Caine.

*In director Barry Levinson’s ‘Rock the Kasbah’, Bill Murray stars as a down-on-his-luck manager who finds a young girl from Afghanistan with an incredible voice and manages her as she competes in the Afghanistan equivalent of ‘American Idol’. The film also stars Bruce Willis, Zooey Deschanel, Kate Hudson, and Danny McBride.

*And finally from this week there’s the nationwide expansion of the Danny Boyle directed and Aaron Sorkin written biopic ‘Steve Jobs’. Michael Fassbender stars as the titular co-founder of Apple as the film will be based around three major product launches. The film also stars Seth Rogen as fellow Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Kate Winslet as Mac and NeXT team member Joanna Hoffman, and Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley.

OCTOBER 30- After all of those wide releases on the 23rd, the month ends on an easier note with only two main wide releases.

*Sandra Bullock stars in ‘Our Brand is Crisis’, which is a ‘remake’ of a 2005 documentary of the same name that was about the 2002 presidential elections in Bolivia and how one of the candidates enlisted the help of an American political consulting firm to help him win the election. Bullock stars as the politician’s manager alongside Billy Bob Thornton as her rival political consultant.

*Finally, there’s ‘Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse’, in which a trio of scouts have to help their town deal with a zombie outbreak.

And those are the films that are set to come out this October. Check back next week for Part 11 of this year-long preview as we’ll be looking at the films that will be hitting theaters in November.

2015 Preview: September

With the Summer Movie Season now behind us, it’s time to start looking forward to this year’s awards season. As we enter the final third of the year, we’ll soon be seeing plenty of films that will be amongst those considered for major awards. September’s not usually considered to be a good month for film releases but as always there are definitely some noteworthy releases this month. Welcome back to Rhode Island Movie Corner’s year-long preview of the films that are set to come out in 2015. This is Part 9 of 12 and today we’ll be looking at the films that will be hitting theaters this September.

SEPTEMBER 4- The month opens up with a pair of new releases; a Robert Redford starring travel comedy and the latest installment of a popular action franchise, albeit without its original leading man.

*The series that made Jason Statham the action star he is today returns with ‘The Transporter: Refueled’. This time, however, the series goes the prequel route with Ed Skrein taking over the role of ex-Special Forces operative Frank Martin. In this film, Martin undertakes a major bank heist while dealing with a team of femme fatales and a Russian kingpin.

*Based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Bill Bryson, ‘A Walk in the Woods’ stars Robert Redford as Bryson who, after returning home to the States after two whole decades in the U.K., decides to hike the Appalachian Trail. The film also stars Emma Thompson and Nick Nolte, the latter of whom plays Bryson’s friend Stephen who ends up joining him on the trip.

SEPTEMBER 11- M. Night Shyamalan makes a return to the genre that first made him famous.

*The latest from M. Night Shyamalan, ‘The Visit’ focuses on a pair of siblings who are forced to stay at their grandparents’ house while their mother is on vacation. As time goes on, however, the two of them start to sense that things aren’t quite right with their grandparents.

SEPTEMBER 18- Among this week’s releases include the sequel to last year’s surprise hit ‘The Maze Runner’ and a Johnny Depp starring biopic on one of America’s most notorious criminals.

*Following last year’s smash hit ‘The Maze Runner’, the dystopian sci-fi series based off of the book series of the same name by James Dashner returns with ‘The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’. Once again directed by Wes Ball and starring the majority of the surviving cast of the original film, this film sees Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers, after escaping the Maze, now having to traverse through the post-apocalyptic landscape of ‘the Scorch’. Newcomers to the cast include Aiden Gillen, Giancarlo Esposito, and Barry Pepper.

*Johnny Depp stars as James ‘Whitey’ Bulger, the most notorious gangster in U.S history, in ‘Black Mass’, directed by Scott Cooper. The film follows the story of Bulger’s alliance with the FBI during the 70’s and 80’s. The film also stars Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dakota Johnson, Kevin Bacon, and Corey Stoll.

*Another true story, ‘Captive’ stars David Oyelowo as Brian Nichols, who in 2005 went on a killing spree after being put on trial and held a young woman named Ashley Smith (Kate Mara) hostage.

SEPTEMBER 25- The last major weekend of the month is also its busiest, with four new wide releases and a nationwide expansion for a major awards contender.

*From Mike Flanagan, the director of ‘Oculus’, ‘Before I Wake’ stars Kate Bosworth and Thomas Jane as a couple who adopt a young child whose dream suddenly manifest into reality.

*The latest from director Eli Roth, ‘The Green Inferno’ centers on a group of students who travel to the Amazon to help a native tribe. But when they end up crash-landing in the jungle, they then find themselves taken hostage by the cannibalistic tribe.

*Dracula and his pals return in the sequel to 2012’s animated hit ‘Hotel Transylvania’, ‘Hotel Transylvania 2’. Once again directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, this film sees Dracula (Adam Sandler) and his monster friends trying to train his new grandson when his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez) and her human husband Jonathan (Andy Samberg) announce that they are planning to leave Hotel Transylvania. The main cast of the previous film (Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, and David Spade) return to reprise their roles save for Cee-Lo Green as the mummy Murray. Keegan-Michael Key takes over the role and newcomers to the cast include Mel Brooks as Dracula’s father Vlad.

*Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro star in ‘The Intern’ in which Hathaway stars as the CEO of a fashion company who hires a retired widower (De Niro) as an intern as part of an outreach program. The film also stars Rene Russo and Adam DeVine.

*Finally, expanding into a Nationwide Release is ‘Prisoners’ director Denis Villeneuve’s latest film ‘Sicario’. Emily Blunt stars as an FBI agent who is enlisted into joining a task force to hunt down a drug lord. The film also stars Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, and Jon Bernthal.

Summer may be coming to a close but the 2015 year in film is still going strong. Welcome back to Rhode Island Movie Corner’s year-long preview of the films that are set to come out in 2015. This is Part 8 of 12 and today we’ll be looking at all of the films that will be hitting theaters this August. It’s commonly said that this is when the Summer Movie Season begins to fizzle out but I think that there are still quite a few noteworthy films coming out this month. So without further ado, here are the films of August 2015.

AUGUST 7- A pretty busy weekend with four new wide releases kicking off the month, including the last major Marvel film of the year.

As with previous adaptations of this particular franchise, the film centers on the foursome of Reed Richards AKA Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller), Susan Storm AKA the ‘Invisible Woman’ (Kate Mara), her brother Johnny Storm AKA the ‘Human Torch’ (Michael B. Jordan), and Ben Grimm AKA ‘The Thing’ (Jamie Bell), who gain unique superpowers during a scientific experiment. The film also stars Toby Kebbell as Dr. Doom and Reg E. Cathey as Susan and Johnny’s father Franklin.

Streep plays a former musician who returns home for the first time in years after leaving it all behind to pursue a music career. The film also stars Kevin Kline and Sebastian Stan.

*Finally this week there is the ‘Shaun the Sheep Movie’, a feature film adaptation of the British stop-motion animated series ‘Shaun the Sheep’, which centered around the titular character of the same name who had first appeared in the ‘Wallace and Gromit’ short film ‘A Close Shave’. In this film, Shaun decides to take a day off but ends up having to get everyone he knows back home following a mix-up.

AUGUST 14- Three major wide releases this month, including a spy flick, a musical biopic, and an animated sports film.

*An adaptation of the 1960’s spy TV series of the same name, ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ is directed by Guy Ritchie (director of the Robert Downey Jr. starring ‘Sherlock Holmes’ films) and stars Henry ‘Superman’ Cavill and Armie ‘Lone Ranger’ Hammer as CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB agent Illya Kuryakin, respectively, who are forced to work together in order to stop a criminal organization from using nuclear weapons on the world. The film also stars Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, Jared Harris, and Hugh Grant.

*Directed by F. Gary Gray (‘Friday’), ‘Straight Outta Compton’ is the true story of hip-hop group N.W.A. and the intense controversy that spurred from their music, particularly in their hometown of Compton, California. Produced by band members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, the film features Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. in the role of his father and also stars Paul Giamatti as the group’s manager.

*Originally released in Argentina and the United Kingdom in 2013, ‘Underdogs’ focuses on a boy named Jake (Amadeo in other regions) who attempts to defeat an old rival in a game of Foosball. Along the way, he discovers that he can actually talk to the board’s ‘foosball’ players. The film’s US voice cast includes Matthew Morrison, Ariana Grande, Bella Thorne, Nicholas Hoult, and Taran Killam.

AUGUST 21- A stoner comedy and video game adaptation headline the weekend.

*In ‘American Ultra’, Jesse Eisenberg stars as a stoner who learns that he’s actually a ‘sleeper’ agent for the government who must now deal with being labeled a ‘liability’ and marked for elimination. The film also stars Kristen Stewart, Topher Grace, and John Leguizamo.

*The second major film adaptation of the ‘Hitman’ video game series, ‘Hitman: Agent 47’ (which was written by the same writer of the 2007 ‘Hitman’ film), Rupert Friend stars as the titular ‘Agent 47’, a secret agent who takes on assassination missions for an organization known as the International Contracts Agency. The film also stars Zachary Quinto and Thomas Kretschmann.

AUGUST 28- Finally we have three flicks that will conclude both the August lineup and the Summer Movie Season.

*The sequel to 2012’s horror hit ‘Sinister’, ‘Sinister 2’, not directed by Scott Derrickson but still written by him and C. Robert Cargill (AKA ‘Carlyle’ from the old Spill.com film review website), centers on a young mother (Shannyn Sossamon) who moves into a new home with her two sons but must then deal with the mysterious demon known as ‘Bughuul’.

2015 Preview: May

It is here; the summer movie season has begun and boy there are quite a lot of exciting movies hitting theaters these next three to four months. Welcome back to Rhode Island Movie Corner’s year-long preview of the films that are coming out in 2015. This is Part 5 of 12 and today we’ll be looking at the films that will be hitting theaters in May, the first official month of the summer movie season (even though technically May is a spring month but when it comes to movies, we ignore that). So let’s not waste any time and get started with this month’s film preview.

MAY 1- It’s the first week of May! You know what that means… That’s right, it’s the week of Marvel.

*Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are back, once again under the direction of Joss Whedon, for the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. In this film, the Avengers reunite to stop their latest threat, Ultron (James Spader), an A.I. created by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) meant to be part of a new peacekeeping program but goes bad once it gains a god complex. The main cast of ‘The Avengers’; Downey Jr., Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), among others, return for the sequel. They’re joined by Spader, Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), among others.

MAY 8- Another single release this week, this one a comedy.

*In ‘Hot Pursuit’, Reese Witherspoon stars as an inept cop who has to protect the widow of a drug dealer (Sofia Vergara) from criminals while transporting her to a court case in Dallas.

MAY 15- Two sequels come out this weekend; one a sequel to one of 2012’s surprise hits and the other being the first major installment of its franchise in three decades.

*2012’s ‘Pitch Perfect’ was a surprise hit with both critics and audiences, grossing over $110 million worldwide and attracting a massive fan following. This year, the Barden Bellas are back in ‘Pitch Perfect 2’, this one directed by Elizabeth Banks, who produced and co-starred in the first film. In this film, the Bellas enter into a worldwide competition where no American a-Capella group has ever won before. Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson, and the main cast of the first film all return for this new film.

*Tom Hardy takes over for Mel Gibson in the role of Max Rockatansky in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, the fourth entry in the post-apocalyptic action franchise directed by George Miller. In this film, Max joins forces with Furiosa (Charlize Theron) as they try to cross the desert in order to escape from the clutches of gang leader Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne, who starred as another gang leader named Toecutter in the original ‘Mad Max’). The film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

MAY 22- A remake of a classic horror film comes out alongside the latest from visionary director Brad Bird.

*Brad Bird (‘The Iron Giant’, ‘The Incredibles’, ‘Ratatouille’, ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’) brings us his latest film, ‘Tomorrowland’, co-written by Bird and Damon Lindelof. George Clooney and Britt Robertson star as a grizzled inventor and young optimistic teenager, respectively, who travel to the futuristic world of Tomorrowland, a place ‘where nothing is impossible’ and your actions will actually change the world. The film is inspired by both a mysterious box of items from the archives of Walt Disney Imagineering and the Disney Park land of the same name and also stars Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, and Kathryn Hahn.

*Sam Raimi produces the remake of the Steven Spielberg-produced horror classic ‘Poltergeist’. Similar to the original film, this film focuses on a family whose house is invaded by spirits. The film stars Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Jared Harris.

MAY 29- Finally, to close out the month, we have a Dwayne Johnson-led action film and a Bradley Cooper-led comedy.

*Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson re-teams with ‘Journey 2’ director Brad Peyton for a much bigger project, ‘San Andreas’. Not based off of the hit GTA game of the same name, ‘San Andreas’ actually revolves around an earthquake that occurs in California along the titular San Andreas Fault. Johnson stars as a rescue helicopter pilot who, along with his ex-wife (Carla Gugino), heads to San Francisco in order to rescue his daughter (Alexandra Daddario).

*Bradley Cooper stars in director Cameron Crowe’s ‘Aloha’. In it, he plays a defense contractor assigned to oversee the launch of a new weapons satellite in Hawaii. While there, he falls for an Air Force pilot (Emma Stone). The film’s ensemble cast also includes Rachel McAdams, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin.

And those are the films that will be hitting theaters in May 2015. Check back next month for Part 6 as we continue the Summer Movie Season with the films of June.
